After a practice round , the captains of all teams were briefed by the Chief referee Rai Azizullah on the sules and
regulations of the game.
The official inaguration was also held and none other than the Punjab Governor Khalil Maqbool did the honours.

The rain played spoil sport and there was no game
And though the course looked unplayable after the heavy downpour and the organisers looked nervous
and edgy, Kevin Hind, the man in charge of the course went into action and made the
seemingly impossible possible! within 4 hours the course looked perfect!
31 July
the game resumed with 27 holes instead
of 18, being played.
